How to Find Peace: A Simple Guide

Pal Patel

Peace! This word is very small, but when it comes to finding peace, it seems like a very big and difficult task. In today's time, people do not do anything to find peace - they go on tours, do new activities, keep themselves busy in self-care on weekends and do many other things. But despite so many efforts, lasting peace is not found.

Apart from this, nowadays meditation is used for peace. While meditating, focus on the breath and try to stop the thoughts of the mind. This sometimes calms the mind to some extent, but this method is quite difficult. So is there an easy way to find peace?

The easy way is...

In this, you just have to gain knowledge and remember someone again and again. Just as we remember our parents or other loved ones, by remembering someone we can become an embodiment of peace. What is that knowledge and by remembering whom can we get peace? Let's know.

So what knowledge is necessary to find peace?

See, we know, we keep saying that peace is within us, yet we depend on external things to achieve it. Like when a child is young, his parents think that if their child studies well, earns well when he grows up, then there will be peace in his and their lives. The child also thinks that if my career will be good, then I will have peace. So in this way, we keep running to find peace throughout our lives. We definitely say that peace is within us, but still we keep trying to find peace from outside - we will do this, we will get peace, we will do that, we will get peace. So why does this happen? This happens because we - what is peace? And if peace is within us, then where is it? We do not have the knowledge of this.

Before knowing what peace is and where it is, it is important to know that we are a conscious soul, a power or point of light. And this body is our garment. When we consider ourselves to be a soul, then we realize that peace is an inherent quality within me that always resides within me. Just it is not shown to me or felt because I have considered myself to be the body. And these vices like restlessness, anger, greed, attachment, etc. are not the nature of the soul. We understand that getting angry, getting tensed, is natural, but it is not so. We all souls are made up of seven qualities - peace, love, purity, happiness, joy, knowledge and power only. And there are no vices in us souls. Just because of taking ourselves as body-mind, we call all the vices ours too.

It is like this - if we consider the clothes worn on the body as 'me', then the stains on it will also become a part of me. But if I know that this kurta is just a garment that is worn, then the stains on it will not be mine either. So just as the kurta is a garment of the body, the body is a garment of the soul and the vices associated with the body are not a part of the soul.

So the first step to finding peace is knowledge and the second step is to remove the veil of negativity and vices and bring out the peace that resides in the soul. So what should be done for this? So here comes the second step - Yoga...

What is meant by Yoga? The yoga that is being talked about here is not very easy. Here, yoga means connection or connection. To whom to connect? Someone who can reawaken the peace that resides within us. Remember that at the beginning of the blog, I talked about remembering whom to find peace... Just going to clarify that...

We have to connect with God who is the ocean of peace, this is to connect with them and remember them. How to remember? No hymns, kirtans, fasts, fasts, etc. just have to visualize yourself as a soul that I am a soul sitting with my father God or doing some work, then think and experience that I am doing this work with my father God. For example. If I am eating, then I have to experience that I am eating from the hands of my father God. So in this way, we will remember them again and again in different forms as father, mother, brother or sister, then the peace hidden within us and along with it many other qualities will also start awakening.

So think how easy this method is.

There is no need to sit in a corner and focus on the breath or do difficult things like difficult asanas or standing on one leg. Just by walking, laughing, playing, peace awakens. And do you know how it happens by remembering God? To understand this, take the example of our mobile phone - when the phone is discharged, that is, its battery is low, then we connect it to the charging point to charge it and the charging point transfers the electricity inside it to the phone.

Here, just as the charging point has immense electricity, similarly, God is the ocean of peace. Ocean of peace means that He has immense power of peace. And the more and more we connect with Him through remembrance, many times - once they awaken the peace that is within us and transfer extra power of peace from above. Just as when the phone is connected to the charging point, electricity flows and fills the phone, similarly when the soul remembers and connects with God, the power of peace that resides in God flows and fills the soul.

So in this way we can get peace by including knowledge and yoga in our lives.
